Xin Chao Vietnam!

In this post, i'll be talking about my trip at Vietnam for 5days 4night! Details might not be clear because i forget a certain part already. :P

Day 1 (Friday, 14th December 2009)
Reach Changi Airport Terminal 1 @ around 11:45. Guang Rong and few other people were there. At this time, i only know guang rong. So i'm quite quiet. lol. Everyone look excited, and some of them with their parents were there. At about 12:30pm, Mr Loh arrived. Well, yes... He's late because of some stuff in school. We then proceed to the Check-in area to check in all our luggage. This is where we took the most TIME. Everyone was talking either to their friends or family. So they dragged quite awhile here. Before moving in, Mr Loh gave a small speech to their family and friends. We moved in to the Duty-free shops area. OMG. I see lots of branded stuff, or rather, ALL OF THEM ARE BRANDED. lol. I could only afford a packet of sweet from Cocoa Tree LOL. Pathetic uh. We were given around 10-15mins to walk around. Well, i wanted to buy perfume but didnt. Took little pictures here. Times up! Around 2PM, we're going to board our plane! We're taking Vietnam Airline. Hmm kinda like my first time taking the plane. So i'm feeling like a mixture of anxiety and excitement. I sat with Ayu and Nabila. My space is kinda far from the mirror, sad. I wanted to see what's outside :( When we're taking off, everyone was like shouting because of the itching feeling. LOL. Well, we got complained by people infront because they're thought something happened. WTF. In the middle of the flight, i tried my first meal in aeroplane! The air steward was like "you want fried rice with chicken or chicken noodle?" i couldnt understand him because of his wierd accent. So i said fried rice loool. Hmmm taste not as bad as what others said... It's rather good i think (i'm not picky lol). When the plane decelerate (yay! we reached vietnam!), again, we're making lots of noise LOL. Not me at least :P Ayu made funny noises! Find her really funny because of her swan-like sound. LOL no offence uh yuyu. We arrived Vietnam! Wooo! We took a bus all the way to the area where we check-out (idk what is it). We waited for quite a long time because the checking-out at the custom is quite slow! They're taking their own sweet time to stamp our passport. !@#$%^&* ooops. LOL! The time here in Vietnam is +7GMT, so it's slower than singapore by an hour. The first thing we did when we got out is CHANGE MONEY! There's around 6-8 money changer there and they're like fighting for business LOL. That's funny huh. So we go shop to shop to look for the best price. I changed 50 bucks only. Trying to save money for future trip! HAHA. We were received by Hoang Anh and Huy (translator) who is working for jonathan(our almost-like tourguide) lol. We took a group photo before we took the bus to Huong Sen Hotel. In the bus, i see a lil of the life in Vietnam. Their main transportation in Ho Chi Minh city is by motorcycle. Also, their traffic here is horrible. They got traffic and and zebra crossing but i dont really see them using it. LOL. Ok we reached Huong Sen hotel in like 1hr or lesser (cant remember), we gathered for awhile while jonathan go get the keys for our room. Oh ya, i'm staying in the same room as Guang Rong and Edwin. We got Room 211. Ok THIS ROOM SUCKS. It smells like SHYT. As time passes, i started to get less patient with Guang rong as time goes. He's messy, talkative (i'm fine with talkative but dont talk rubbish), abit unhygienic and slow. He can camp in the toilet for like 30MINS odd. Ok skip him.
